My Car

To begin, I decided to start with a shoe box. I then cut the front out of the shoebox and folded it back to look like a windshield. I took the ribbon out of the ribbon containers and just used the 4 containers as my wheels. Also, I had to cut holes in the sides of the shoebox for where the axles go. Then I had to cut one hole on one side of each of the ribbon containers. After that, I painted my car red and used some silver paint for the windshield. I then painted the wheels black. For my axles, i used cardboard tubes. After i put it all together, I decided to make the holes on the side of it, a little bit bigger so it could roll better. I then added on a steering wheel out of tinfoil that i attached behind the windshield. And this is how my car was made.

Knowbody would have ever thought that Koalas have human like fingerprints! If asked, people would think no way! I mean, wouldn't you? But it is true. Koalas have human like fingerprints. They are so alike that it is hard to tell the difference. They are almost identical to human ones. When studying the fingerprints under analysis, the turns and loops are too similar to humans making it so much harder to tell which is which, even for the best scientists. Gorillas and chimps have similar fingerprints to humans just like Koalas since they are, also human relatives. Koalas get their food by climbing onto trees, and grasping the branches and leaves. Koalas, gorillas, and chimps all grasp. That's helpful for them, since while they have fingerprints, they can grasp to feed. Koala fingerprints seemed to have changed over the years and Koalas fingertip features have developed recently since most of their close relatives lack them is what scientists think. For scientists, the purpose of fingerprints is still a mystery but koala's fingerprints may help explain it. The way fingerprints came to be can be explained as the adaption to grasping.

Intersesting Things About Dogs

Dogs and humans are very similar. Dogs can get our diseases and they can get cancer! Many dogs have been diagnosed with cancer. Cancer, epilepsy, or even diabetes are what some dogs are able to smell. You can train them to smell cancer in a person. If a person is about to have a seizure, a dog can pick up on it forty-five minutes before it happens. Dogs being used as service animals is becoming more popular with people who have diabetes. Dogs can get you sick and they can tell when something isn't fair, since they can be envious. When a dog is accused of doing something, like maybe eating something, they will look guilty even if they didn't do it! Newer dog breeds are smarter than older breeds. Teachable, easy, obedient dogs live longer, and aggressive, belligerent dogs have shorter lives. Dogs are the most different looking mammals alive today. Dogs are also very useful animals. Dogs have been with humans for thousands and thousands of years. They can have a huge impact and be a great part of a person's life!

Alien Planet Found!

Many planets are being found. Astronomers have recently found the smallest planet yet though! This new planet named Kepler-10b, is the first planet, NASA has ever discovered that is earth-like and where life could actually live. If life could live there, then there is so many possibilities. And if there is even such things as aliens,
well then that is the sort of planet
they would be living on.
